On November 3, 2026, voters within Culver Community Schools Corporation will consider an eight-year operating referendum renewal that would continue referendum funding after the current authorization ends.
Culver voters approved the current operating referendum in 2018. Since then, changes to Indiana property-tax law under Senate Enrolled Act 1 (SEA 1) have changed how property taxes are calculated, including new deductions and credits that affect property-tax bills. The current Pay-2026 referendum rate is $0.1700 per $100 of net assessed value. The proposed renewal would authorize a maximum rate of $0.2400 per $100 of net assessed value.
Because of the new deductions, credits, and other changes to Indiana's property-tax system, looking at the referendum tax rate alone does not show the full effect on an individual property owner's tax bill.
This calculator estimates how the proposed Culver Community Schools referendum renewal, if approved, would work together with the new property-tax deductions and credits under SEA 1 in 2027 and 2028, using your property's actual 2026 tax information. You don't have to guess your assessed value, deductions, or current tax rate. The calculator uses official property-tax records from Marshall, Fulton, Pulaski, and Starke counties to estimate the impact for your individual property.
The result allows you to compare your actual 2026 property-tax bill with estimated 2027 and 2028 amounts and see how the statewide tax changes and the proposed Culver referendum renewal could affect your property.
All figures are based on certified property-tax data from Marshall, Fulton, Pulaski, and Starke counties and the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF). Actual future tax bills may vary based on changes in assessed value, tax rates, deductions, credits, and other factors.
